christmas and marketing

So this is Christmas..... I love Christmas, I don't care if it has turned into some overly commercialized holiday. I love the chilly weather, the decorations, and the presents are just some miniscule part of it. Just finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. I don't think I'll get one gift in time (ordered online). I guess that's my bad. If I was some bitchy customer (like the ones I deal with) I would be calling the place and bitching them out. The fact that so many people complain nowadays (because they know then they can get something for free) is turning into a real marketing problem. That has got to be yet another reason why there are so many automated system (aka you talk to a machine, not an individual). Because then it's impossible (or at least possible to ignore) all the unnecessary bitchiness that goes on just to further an individual's financial game. If there hasn't been a study depicting how much loss is covered by the average business (by trying to give away, aka console, complaining customers) over the years, then there should be. Honestly, I predict that as the years go by the problem will only worsen causing businesses to do the opposite of what their intentions were (by consoling the customer it keeps them continuing to shop, aka bringing their money in continuously).

I want to have hope.
I want to believe.
I want to succeed.
If I fail I don't want to blame myself for giving up.
